I would like to extend a big thanks to the many wonderful and dedicated individuals who assisted Mississippi State Hospital in the ACGME accreditation process. As of February 12, 2021, MSH has been approved for 24 psychiatry training positions. This is only the first small step in our mission dedicated to becoming the fertile crescent of psychiatry residency training in Mississippi. Our program is dedicated to serving Mississippi and the surrounding states through the expansion of the psychiatric workforce. We appreciate the many talented candidates who have interviewed for positions, and we look forward to the 2021 NRMP.
